It all started before the Spanish GP, when Carlos Sainz was attending a fan meet-and-greet with teammate Charles Leclerc, and was asked about his ideal day when he is not racing. This raised some eyebrows in F1 town as fans proceeded to sleuth out whether it was true that the Scuderia driver is now single.

And finally putting the nail in the coffin, Isabel Harnaez, the Spanish model who started going out with Sainz for the first time in 2016, confirmed the news of their breakup. During a feature with Hola Magazine, Harnaez was faced with a question about her seven-year-long relationship with her F1 driver beau, and she said they have parted ways. She commented, “I’ll keep the good always, of course. And I wish him all the happiness.” This is a quite recent breakup as Isabel was spotted accompanying Sainz even at the Bahrain GP this year.
