Derrick Lewis is married to April Davis, his long-term lover. They married in 2017 after dating for an undefined period of time. April is little known since Lewis is infamous for keeping his personal and professional lives apart, and for good reason.
Derrick and April were introduced through Derrick’s cousin Kendrick. When asked how they met, April stated, “His cousin Kendrick, introduced me and Derrick. So we initially talked on the phone. When I first talked to Derrick on the phone, he was just telling me he was really black. (laughs.) The next day he just showed up on my door, I didn’t tell him where I lived. So yeah.” When questioned about their first meeting, Lewis stated “I went to knock at the door, she came out. “She was looking all good.”
The couple, who have been married for three years, have two boys and a daughter.
Because of Lewis’ preference for secrecy, nothing is known about their children.
